- Grated cabbage -2 Cups
- Coriander leaves -2 tbsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder -1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Wheat flour - 2cups
Make a dough from wheat flour by the addition of salt and water. Add 1 tea spn oil to the dough and knead very well. Keep it closed for about 30 minutes.
Heat the oil and add the grated cabbage. Fry for a few minutes. Then add the garam masala, chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt. Mix well.
Cook down until all the mixture becomes very dry. Add the coriander leaves and mix well. Remove from heat and let cool.
When making parathas, make sure the stuffing is as dry as possible. Press cabbage cooked once it down a little to remove excess moisture. If is better to squeeze out moisture before adding spices
Take a ball of dough. Stuff the cabbage mixture. Roll paratha. Roast the paratha on both sides. Apply ghee / butter if you wish.
Serve hot with pickle or yogurt.
