Aloo Palak Paratha
- Wheat flour -2cups
- Palak -15 to 18 medium leaves
- Aloo -2 medium
- Garlic -2-3 cloves
- Cumin powder -½ tsp
- Coriander powder -½ tsp
- Red chili powder -½ tsp
- Turmeric powder -¼ tsp
- Sait to taste
Rinse and cut the palak,boiled potatoes until fully cooked.when they are still hot, peel and mash them.
Heat 1 or 1.5 cups water in a saucepan,just heat the water until it reaches a gentle boil,add Palak or spinach and simmer for 4-5 minutes.using a sieve or a colander drain spinach,all the effort to collect the stock in which we blanch the spinach in a bowl and keep aside.Puree the palak with mixer.
in a bowl or large plate, add all the above ingredients, except for ghee / oil meant for frying.
begin to knead to a smooth dough.you can not require adding water while kneading the dough.
but if the dough is dry and needs water, then add the strained stock in which we simmered the palak leaves and very less stock and knead to asmooth dough,keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
Divide the dough into equal portions , roll out each portion of the dough into a circle with the help of little flour.
heat a tawa cook the paratha using a oil till golden brown spots appear on both sides.
serve hot with pickle, curd and butter.
