- Wheat Flour -1 cup
- Fenugreek Leaves -1/2 cup
- Garlic Cloves -2
- Green Chilly - 2
- Cumin Seeds -1/4 tsp
- Turmeric Powder -1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
Crush the garlic and green chilly in a little dough and chop the leaves of fenugreek and keep aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a skillet , Add the cumin seeds and fry for a few seconds.
Next, add the garlic dough and fry for a few seconds.Add chopped fenugreek leaves and turmeric powder and fry for a few minutes.Turn off the heat and let cool.
Take the flour, salt and fenugreek mixture in a bowl and mix.
Make a smooth and soft dough, adding water little by little. Knead it well.Cover the dough and keep aside for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into 5 equal portions.Roll each ball into a circle.Heat a pan and place the paratha on it.
Cook on each side with little oil until brown spots appear on both sides.
Once the paratha is cooked and browned, remove from pan and keep it covered
Serve hot with pickle and raita.
