Mooli Paratha


  • Grated radish - 3/4 cup
  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Red chilly powder - 1 & 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Salt - To Taste
  • Oil/ ghee .


Peel and grate the radish grater and mix in a little salt with it, keep aside for 10 minutes
You will be able to release a large amount of water grated radish, do not throw this water saving. Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl, use water to make a paste squeezed out instead of water.

You may not need all the water like radish itself is wet, so add water carefully. Make equal size balls out of it. Spread thick parathas. Not too thick, just a thickness of 2 chapati. Dust liberally with flour while rolling. Tawa heat and cook on both sides watered a little oil or ghee on each side, until golden brown spots appear.

Serve hot with Pickle or Curd
