Moong Dal Dosa
- moong dal -1 cup
- green chilli -2
- ginger-1/4 inch piece
- cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
- salt to taste
Wash the dal, changing the water several times until it clearly appears. Soak dal in four cups of water for at least four hours,drain the water.
Mix the dal with green chilli and ginger, slowly add water as necessary to obtain a smooth batter.
Mix cumin seeds and salt in the dough. Addwater as necessary.
Place an tawa over medium-high heat. A slope test a few drops of water on it. The water should sizzle immediately.
Pour ½ cup of batter mix into the pan and spread evenly with the back of a spoon. When the dough starts to dry, gently spread a teaspoon of oil on it. Wait about 30 seconds,
Press the dosa lightly with the spatula around to ensure even cooking, transforming the two to three times. Dosa should be golden brown and crispy on both sides
Serve hot with Chutney
