Peanut Chutney

Peanut Chutney


Peanuts - 1 cup
Green chilies - 5-6
Tamarind - little
Garlic - 4-5 cloves
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tsp
Mustard - 3/4 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Water as per required


Roast the peanuts and remove its skin to some extent.

In a jar first add peanuts, green chillies and garlic grind it.next add tamarind and salt with little water Then add more water and grind to a smooth paste.

In a saucepan, heat oil for seasoning (tadka), add mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves. when crackling mustard, pour the chutney.
