Lauki ka Thepla

 Lauki ka Thepla


  • Wheat flour - 1 1/2 cup
  • Lauki (grated) -1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlicpaste -1 tsp
  • Coriander powder -2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder -1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  • Oil
  • Curd -1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as per required

Take wheat flour  and add grated lauki,red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, curd and  oil and mix well and add enough water knead the soft dough. Cover and keep aside  for 20 minutes.

Divide dough into equal portions.Roll each portion into a circle with a little wheat flour to roll.

Heat a non-stick tava  and cook each thepla until golden brown spots appear on both sides.

Serve hot with curd or Raita or pickle.
