Coconut Chutney
Ingredients
- Coconut(grated)-1 cup
- Green chillies - 5to 6
- Ginger - 1inch
- Roasted chana dal -1 tbsp
- Mustardseeds -1 tbsp
- Redchilli - 1
- Curry leaves -few
- Oil
- salt to taste
Method
Take coconut, green chillies, ginger, roasted gram split, and salt in a blender with a little water and grind to a fine paste. Keep aside.
In a seasoning (tadka) pan heat oil and adding mustard seeds, red chilli and curry leaves and stir until the crackling mustard seeds. Pour this seasoning (tadka) on the chutney and mix well.
Serve chutney With Idli or Dosas
